Fashion model Gigi Hadid is expanding her fashion empire onto the streets of New York. Hadid's brand Guest in Residence has opened their permanent shop on classic Bond Street.
"I’m so excited to welcome everyone into our first permanent space on Bond, a historic, charming street that I feel especially close to, My goal was to make the store feel cozy and warm, like the rustic cabins in nature I spent so much time in with my family as a child. I also wanted it to feel like walking into a chic person’s living room. Guest In Residence pieces are inspired by those in my own closet—sweaters given to me by my parents when I first moved to New York—so the space needed to feel personal as well. I hope that you come in and find your own future heirlooms.” - Gigi Hadid
Fall in New York is truly magical, and Guest in Residence opened their doors just in time for the cooler weather. The passion behind this brand is to create cashmere knitter wear for all people that will last as heirlooms.
The company is focused on creating a positive mark on the environment not just with their clothing line. Customers can bring in their cashmere clothes that are up-cycled and used for future clothing. The brand is also partnered with Sustainable Fibre Alliance, a non-profit focused on working on cashmere not negatively impacting the environment.
Opening day went amazingly well and lots of Gigi's friends were in attendance for the big day! Take a peek at some of the photos and guests who traveled down to Bond Street to the physical Guest in Residence store! <3 Lou Lou
